 EDTECH Federal Credit Union, as all credit unions, is a not-for-profit financial institution. EDTECH provides these financial services to persons who are employed by any of the public, private, or parochial schools in Silver Bow County, Montana Tech of the University of Montana, the Montana Tech College of Technology (Vo-Tech), ASiMI, MSE, JC Penney, the Butte Dental Association, and numerous small employee groups.
Immediate family members of eligible persons are also able to join EDTECH. Immediate family members include a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, stepsibling, or an adoptive relationship.
What is a Credit Union?
A credit union is a not-for-profit cooperative financial institution serving groups of people who have "something in common." That common bond can be a place of work, a community, or an association.
A credit union's members are the owners. As an owner, you have a voice. Officers, directors, and committee members are volunteers elected by the credit union membership and serve without pay.
A credit union's sole purpose is to serve our members, in good times or in bad. All of the benefits of membership are derived from that single purpose. |
